Ahead is looking for a Senior Manager of Strategic Accounts to lead it's Salesforce!

We are a full-service headwear, apparel, and accessory company. 

The Senior Manager of Strategic Accounts is a high-impact sales leadership role responsible for managing and expanding relationships with a diverse portfolio of ahead’s most strategic accounts. This role focuses on driving profitable revenue growth, enhancing brand presence, and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction by developing high-level business partnerships. The position requires a proactive, strategic thinker with a record of exceeding sales goals and fostering executive-level relationships within complex organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Account Management: Build, strengthen, and expand partnerships with key current and potential strategic accounts, ensuring revenue growth and long-term business success.
  • Revenue Growth & Profitability: Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies, leveraging experience, market trends, and customer needs to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Executive Relationship Development: Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers at senior and executive levels, positioning the company as a trusted partner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to promote initiatives that support strategic accounts.
  • Customized Sales Strategies: Develop tailored account management strategies considering individual account preferences, purchasing patterns, and revenue potential.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations for agreements, renewals, and pricing strategies.  Inform and distribute details of these agreements to appropriate internal departments.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Serve as the internal champion for strategic accounts, providing guidance on customer expectations, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Internal Leadership & Influence: Serve as a key contributor to ahead growth strategy discussions, identifying revenue opportunities and advocating for strategic account initiatives.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at major industry events, applicable trade shows, and customer meetings to reinforce brand leadership and foster partnerships.
  • Operational Guidance: Notify and inform all appropriate internal departments of special needs, protocols, or deliverables for SA’s. Work to ensure efficient account management and seamless customer experience.
  • Timeline Management; Develop and manage timelines for securing revenue commitments in order to meet delivery expectations; manage both internal and account deliverables in order to ensure these timelines are met.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years’ experience in customer facing and progressive leadership roles.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • While this role does not include direct reports, it requires strong leadership and influence across cross-functional teams.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem solving, and data driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute high-level sales strategies with a focus on customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Strong ability to influence and build credibility with decision makers across multiple levels within the account including executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performance sales environment with a commitment to results-driven execution.
  • Superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships to support business success.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with internal teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support key accounts and business objectives.
  • Ability to demand of himself/herself and others the highest level of personal and professional integrity, ethics, and confidentiality
