JOB SUMMARY:


The role of a Warehouse Associate II is to perform tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and organizing of incoming and outgoing inventory. They are also responsible for performing these functions in accordance to SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) of the company. They will possess or obtain a certification to operate Power Industrial Tools.  Successful completion of these duties is an essential component in ensuring company-wide goals and on-time delivery of orders to our valued customers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • None

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Complete picking sequences, using an RF (Radio Frequency) unit and deliver orders to their assigned staging area.
  • Print production sheets to match the needs of the picked orders.
  • Print and place shipping container labels on customer orders appropriately, to identify the proper pathway to the customer.
  • Assist with unloading inbound freight and transfers into the building from a truck.
  • Breaking down and receiving freight into our WMS (Warehouse Management System) using an RF unit.
  • Operate Electric Pallet Jack, Order Processor and/or Forklift as needed.
  • Maintaining an organized work area to ensure accuracy for all involved teammates.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Performing cycle counts
  • Assisting with Return to Stock

  • Ability to pick orders quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to count quickly but accurately
  • Ability to obtain a Certification to use PIT (Power Industrial Tools)

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • Power Industrial Tool (PIT) preferred
  • Order Processor
  • Forklift
  • Electric Pallet Jack

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to reach and use hands, fingers, and arms
  • Ability to move about the facility
  • Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and crouch
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Exposure to moderate noise level.

VISION REQUIREMENT:
  • Close and Distance Vision
  • Color vision
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
  • Closed-toe footwear is required when entering the Production Floor (as needed).
  • Safety glasses (as needed)
  • Safety gloves (as needed)
  • Safety harness (as needed)

SCHEDULE:
  • 3:30 pm – 12:00 am Monday – Friday with Overtime (during the week) as required
